God Partners with Imperfect People

I think one of the reasons why things don't often go as fast as we want them to be is because, realize it or not, GOD wants imperfect human beings to be involved. He could have changed all the economic turmoil, the wars, the crime rates, the poverty, education, and everything in an instant Himself without our help. But the thing is God wants to partner with us. God wants to partner with imperfect governments, imperfect systems, imperfect families, and imperfect people to bring the change and glory that He desires His children to have.

God waited till He died and resurrected into heaven before Peter was finally ready to take on his call to lead the Jewish church. God waited till the first 3,000 believers can come together in the same place to hear the gospel of Christ that Peter preached for salvation to finally come to the Jews.

God waited for Moses' 40 years of preparation before He could use him to deliver the Israelites from Pharaoh's hand.

God could have delivered Jacob's family from an incoming famine but He sent Joseph ahead of his family to prepare a good land for them in Egypt.

God does all this and more to involve us. US. We are thankful He gives us a chance to partner with Him in such a life-changing call to bring peace, righteousness and salvation to a group of people.

None of us are perfect. Such a call to change the world in Christ's honor and glory is a privilege. Could God be waiting for you to be the change in your neighborhood, place, or country?

God can do everything by Himself, but He chooses to involve us out of His goodness and love. He chooses to use weak people so that with Him, they will do extraordinary works to demonstrate His power and love.
