The Purpose of Windows

The Holy Spirit is impressing upon me a window today. It can be a closed one or an open one like the one below. Credit: www.photo-dictionary.com Windows provide vision of what is inside or outside but it takes a door (obviously open) before you can enter or exit to that which you are seeing on the other side. Sometimes God would give us a windows experience, declaring what is possible - it can be the potential of a future, something on the horizon, the potential of a person, a country or a company - but He would have us wait for the right door of opportunity to pass before we can enter. Or sometimes we were just meant to appreciate the view but not really enter it as there is a different door for us. Some of us visit houses and see the windows of what is inside but not really go in as we are just travelling to our own destination (and our own doors). I will explain this in more detail later. God has a plan for your life. Whatever it is, the Lord is at work

Watched the Son of God

Yesterday, I watched the movie  Son of God directed by Christopher Spencer and featuring Diogo Morgado as Jesus and Roma Downey as Mary, the mother of Jesus. I'm just refreshed by the unique take that the writers took on Jesus life. It may not be intended to be a more scholarly take on His life but it succeeded in portraying Jesus as having walked on earth as a real man and still God's beloved Son. The Jesus in this story (I don't know if it was the intent) had a more youthful aura compared to a more mature presentation of Him in previous movies, which is actually not bad when you would think that He was a son, God's very own Son. He was vulnerable and prayed to an omnipotent Father. The portrayal of Jesus being God's Son was more elaborated for me by this new movie. My Pain My Gain

Yesterday, after work hours, I felt the Lord tug at my heart. " Come," he said.  "Take a walk with Me. I will show you something ," not knowing at all where He'll lead or what He will say. I wanted Him to talk to me at that moment while praying at work. I was in need of comfort. But then I knew the only way to find out is to heed Him to follow and so I did. He led me first to a garden filled with couples, I thought for sure He was kidding. But anyway, when you take things a moment at a time, you don't look too far ahead. I just take it all in, wait for what He will tell me. And so I prayed there not bothering with anyone (all the duos around me) and just prayed and waited. No Word yet, just this " They just want the same things you want. " I did not reply back. I just wanted to listen to what He will say. Then I was prompted it was time to move out and keep walking elsewhere. God first led me to a garden filled with couples.  "Come

Be Faithful

GOD WILL PROVIDE FOR YOUR NEEDS IN 2014 Ephesians 3:20   " Now to him who is able  to do immeasurably more than all we ask  or imagine, according to his power  that is at work within us, " 2 Corinthians 9:8 " And God is able  to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,  you will abound in every good work. " God will provide for 2014. For every need, the provision will come. God is able.  JUST BE FAITHFUL. Matthew 25:29 " To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. " Continue to serve. The key to abundance is faithful living. God will give an abundance (spiritual, provision, relational, growth etc.) in return. Where to be faithful? Be Faithful in the LITTLE THINGS. Be Faithful in the BIG THINGS. Be Faithful in the UNSEEN THINGS. Be Faithful in the SEEN THINGS. Be Faithful and God will reward you in His time and His way. Hebrew
